« on: 30 January 2004, 16:46 »
does a cat by pass do much to the performance and if so is it just a case of taking it out and putting in a bit of pipe. i have a revo re-map and s/s miltek cat back. check out the pics on the link at the bottom of this mesage. ::)

the down pipe and hi flow cat will set you back ?500ish. so im thinking of cheaper ways. i didnt know if the car will run right without a cat as theres a electronic thingymebob with a wire comming off of it... ???

milltek cat and downpipe is about 390 + vat.. i'll let ya know in a couple of weeks how they perform. Went for this option simply because i dont want to have to re-fit a cat for MOT's... and the milltek cat accepts the stock lamda sensor just fine  :)
