can anyone please tell me the fuse numbers for the electric windows on a mk3 golf gti or if they have a relay or main control box

?

Fuse 14 (tenth from the right) is for the windows, there isn't a relay for them.

update, they do have a thermal fuse as well (looks like a relay) number 6, right hand end of top row of relays.

Taz 69 - you should d/l the manual from this forum - gives you all the locations and pictures..

thanks ive found the stand alone fuse and pulled that out for the time being, at least it will stop my windows going down on their own !
