I've just been searching for something through ads and technical etc, and not just on this site and have come across numerous comments/remarks/sales ads etc, stating cars being sold. Not unusual you say, no. However, my rant is about the number of quotes stating such as:
2.0 engine but V5 as 1.6 or 1.3...etc etc.
Don't people realise that 1. insurance is void 2. tax illegal and more importantly than this is 3. the inocent party should this car hit them cos they aint insured!
if anyone has been at the end of a car being written off and the other person not having insurance then they will know what it is like - I have and lost everything, car and my own no claims bonus, plus nearly losing my daughter in the accident.
Not clever, not funny, and for those that are doing this then stop and think about others not yourself or your wallet. My cars are modified and have always been insured as such. yes costs a bit more but not half as much as insurance being invalid.
