ive had the same recently creepy, i went in there and this is the gods honest truth, about trading my GTi in for an edition 30 and both salesmen that id both dealt with in the past said that my GTi in the blue with the spec looks much nicer and id be wasting my money just to have the "ED 30"
I think the cars are too simular tbh, body coloured extras are too some peeps tastes and some reckon the standard GTi looks nicer with it extras on.
tis a shame they really didn't do more to it to make it worthwhile the extra expense,
But also getting hold of an ed 30 is not a problem as vw have about 25 cars in the uk looking for homes still either throw backs,demo's or fallen through deals
