I've just had my little 8v Gti serviced and it's raseid a few questions, hopefuly you guys can help?
The guy has said that there is wear on the end of the steering rack, but he doesn't know without looking further if he'll need to replace the whole thing or if the end parts can be exchanged - please tell me they can be changed or it might not be worth repairing her and I do love her! ha ha - If the steering rack does need to be changed any ideas I on what I should expect to pay?
Also the rear disks need changing, but again he's not sure if they are bolted to the hubs, or are they part of the hub? And does anyone know any good sites to get spares?
Another thing - I need to change one of the headlights, so as I'm changing it anyway I was thinking about getting angel eyes - can anyone recomend a decent site to get a bargain?!
