i have put a 2.0 in my 8v pb and when i got it back on the road it was doing 7 mpg 2 weeks later it is up to 11mpg this is normal driving not booting it so why is my mpg so low would it be anything to do with it having a k+n on it

It's more likely there is a hole in the vacuum pipe that leads to the back of the clocks.
The MFA generates thet mpg from this and i know if it is disconnected or has a leak you will get false readings similar to the ones you are getting.
