Front Cupholder New Style (Broken...Could Be Fixed?????)

Hi all

basically my cupholder decided to break on me, its the nex style were there extendable....

basically the holder bit has fallen out?? but it dont want to go back in??? any 1 know how it goes in... i know it sounds stupid and easy but it really really aint....

i brought a new one 2day, but i just 4t id try and fix this one aswell because it dosnt seem 2 hard with the right know how...

also how do u change the front cover bit because the one i brought it wood and i want it back to black, thanks

hi, this happened to me, take the cup holder out, there are two tabs either saide when u lift the front up, once this is out unclip the metal cage so you just have the plastic parts remaining, if you turn it over you shold be able to see the springs, its more than likely that the plastic lug has snapped which holds it in wen you push it, if not the spring has probably popped out, hope this helps, sorry about the essay!!!!

thanks mate, it is sumit like that, theres a little thing that wants to push in the cupholder bit but it wont stay?
