Buying a used Golf TDi with DSG
« on: 06 March 2007, 10:34 »
I know this isn't about GTIs, but I know some of you guys have owed TDIs and so I wondered if you had any advice about buying one, as I'm about to buy a secondhand one for my sister.

Looking at 1.9 TDI, with DSG, 1-2 years old.

All advice welcomed!

I'm sticking with my GTI

If you can stretch to the 2ltr. It's a much more refined engine and higher spec, although MPG not as good.

Thanks for the advice.  My sis wont notice, as she has just owned a 1.5 dci Clio, so refinement was never the top of her priorities!
