Mk2 V Mk4
« on: 28 January 2004, 00:07 »

I used to run a Mk 4 GT TDi 110bhp. The engine is a peach but it handles like an old dog. I sold it when the market was up and intended to buy another when the market dropped with the Mk 5 coming in.

I have now changed my mind and intend to stick with a Mk2. No depreciation, loads of scope for improvement or restoration, great looks, stands out from the crowd but refuses to make you a bacon sandwich in he morning - but thats enough about the wife.
