Is this reet or not??

I`ve just been told the the MAF sensor for a golf TDi is the same as merc use except a merc one from the stealers only cost £47 (part no A 611 094 00 48)
Anybody heard of this before or is me mate tryna yank me chain

It's not entirely impossible as injectors for valvers can be bought from mercedes and are a direct swap near enough. Only way of checking really is to have a word with a merc dealer/ parts monkey.
