Not in mine, and it regularly gets jet washed!  :smug:

has anyone removed theirs?

Nope, not me.

:nerd: linky: http://volkswagen.msk.ru/body/g5/g5_66-05.pdf, as found in my thread with a catchy title "Free Golf V workshop manuals", found here: http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=54324:wink:

PMSL - what web browser are you using?  What PDF reader too?  I'm using IE6 and AbobeReader 6, and they are all perfic'

I've just downloaded again, and HRH couldn't have typed it any clearler.

Oh, BTW, checked again first thing this morning, and I did find a tiny amount of internal condensation.  Had to look really hard, mine dew!  SWMBO has car today, so I'll have another look over the w/e.

Phil on my older MK5 GTI (just traded for the ED30) condensation was always there in the winter months - drove me mad also
Only in the warmer weather did it go - never did work out how to take it apart.

It was annoying though - new ED30 hasn't done it yet
