I have got my head off at the moment. (8V Digi GTI) and so naturally the bulkhead is exposed. Where the heater hose goes into the bulkhead behind where the exhaust manifold is, there is a wire with a connection on it, coming out. I don't remember removing it and can't see where it would go. Any ideas?

Unable to take any pics, but the wire does not look as if will reach anywhere. I thought redundant lambda probe connection but I believe these are bayonette fittings arn't they?
