Hi,im Dave i,ve been into golf GTI' since about '89.I've had lots of GTI' but only mk1,2,3'.I competed in various sprint and hillclimb championships in one of my mk1'which i will post some pics of it up when my nipper loads them onto the PC for me :rolleyes:This is my current GTI mk3 16V in satin silver,its not very modded just decent suspension,nice camshafts and a decat.But plenty left to do.Though i believe this will end up as my next trackday car as i have just sold my dragbike so am lookin to get back to the roundy roundy tracks but just for a bit of fun this time.I hope you like.




and one of my dragbike so you guys get the idea of what i regard as fast :wink:

I like the ride height on your golf, how much has it been lowered by?

nice bike too, not a fan of bikes but that thing looks pretty cool, and extremely fast I would imagine  :evil:

Hi guys,the golf is lowered about 60mm at the front and 35-40mm at the back.It makes for a bit of lift off oversteer which is always handy.
The bike was a bit quick 8.3secs@176mph down the quater,The miserable face is because i,d just wheeled it out to go to its new owner. :sad:

Oh i just looked at that photo of my car.its loaded with all the holiday rubbish from two weeks away in the south of france after my fireblade broke down.so in that photo its about 70mm at the rear :shocked:

were currently building a 1650cc nitrous hayabusa dragbike to run in the new outlaw class that should run very low 7'or once i get used to it and we start really spraying the engine high 6' @ probably around the 200mph mark.But that bike were building at the shop i work at so not all my money tied up in that :wink:
So i should have some to start messing with my mk3.
