lol for some reason it's gone U/S, here's what i wanted to say

Travelling south on the M1 last night i saw a really nice Mk2 golf and was wondering if the owner is registeredon this forum. It looked like a matt green paint job, with a roll cage, was slammed to the floor with withe wall tyres and also had bonnet clips, and i waved at him, so he probably thought i was some weirdo. Although after i overtook him he came flying past, really nice car.

Was it army green? Could have been a fella off edition38, he works for fastcar magazine I beleive. His project page is on ed38.
