Hi guys im brand new to your forum and am here as i have a few questions for all you knowledgeble folks, i have a 1989 golf gti 8v and it just seems down on power, i used to have a 16v and have driven loads of 8v's before and i just know my is underperforming. Im doing a service on it tommorrow including oil, air, plugs and im also replacing the ignition leads and distributor cap and rotor arm any ideas what else it could be? I have already given the inlet a good blast with some carb spray but to no avail. Any other help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance Rob.
