Current online brochure from VW uk site here:

They do look like all silver without the grey inserts. Just checked my 2006 brochure and it is the same pic !

Ordered my car in July 2007 and got a MY 2007 spec delivered on 25 September - my Monzas have the grey inserts though

The pic on pg 16 isn't actually showing the Monza II rims.  Look at the clearance of the brake calipers!  I guess they couldn't be ar$ed to photo a "real" Monza II, and so put a pic of the 17" Monza, hoping no one would notice!

Simlar story here, ordered ours end of April 06, build week 26/06, arrived at stealers in July, and took delivery on 1st Sept.  It defo is a 2007 model year - you can tell from the 10th digit of the VIN.  The 18" Monza IIs defo are high polished, lacqured outer face, and anthracite grey painted inners.

oops - tail between legs take it back storm in a tea cup! :lipsrsealed:
Went to the dealer today to drop off my private reg stuff and i asked the salesman about the car - apparently the car was a demo model and they scratched the wheels - so when they sold it they did the new owner a 'favour' and had them repainted - so now the poor car has 17" lookalikeies - poo!!

aha well fun while it lasted!
