Build date to delivery

Hi guys,

Long time reader, first time poster. I ordered my ED 30 back in November, and my build date is March week 1. Just wondering what sort of times others were getting from build date to on their drive. First new car I've ever bought; have 4-6 weeks in my head, but it is a total guess!

Was quoted 12 weeks for my GTI from initial order but the car arrived early and was on the road in 8. Depends on the dealer allocation , so work on 12 weeks max and hope for the best :wink:

orderd my gti in june last year. got a build date 1st week in sep. it took two weeks and then i got it. also live in carlisle. now waiting for me new house to get built it feels just the same :smiley:

when was yours ordered hurdy?

I orded mine 10th feb, when do you think I will get it by? It has one my order sheet 30th April. God that seems like a long time!!!!!

Hi Nathan,

Mine was ordered on the 18th Jan, but the dealer had already pencilled in an order for this car and I hijacked it and altered the spec.

Mine is due week 3 in March so I would expect yours would arrive around the second week in April.

Thanks for that hurdy. I am sick of waiting already and I have only waited 3 weeks!!!! I look forward to seeing pictures of those peoples cars that are getting picked up today, you lucky people!! :wink:

I had a phone call 2 weeks after my delivery date saying it'd be in by the next Monday.... it had arrived by Thursday  :smiley: So 2 weeks and 4 days for me
