Oh well here goes, showing my age I suppose:
1975 - Ford Cortina 1300 Deluxe, 1968 F reg, metallic silver - first car, paid £250 for it and sold 2 years later for £250

1976 - Mini 1000, K reg, blue/rust - nothing but a money pit and rotten to hell all over

1977 - Fiat 127 900, N Reg, beige - cheap runabout and a sad workhorse

1979 - Datsun Sunny 120Y, cannot remember reg, metallic brown

would you believe - very reliable though :embarassed:
1981 - Fiat 127 1050 Sport, W Reg, black - quick, cheap and low maintenance

1983 - Fiat 127 1300 GT 5 speed, new Y reg, red - sad, first new car, sowing machine engine though

1985 - Ford Fiesta XR2, new B reg, metallic silver - bit of a holligan and modded to hell, drove/sounded great

1986 - Audi Coupe quattro, C reg, red - well built, grown up, classy cruiser with great grip
1987 - VW Scirocco 1600GT, C reg, metallic grey - in between runabout, relaible as usual

1988 - VW Golf GTi Mk II, A reg, metallic green - lovely car, sold for same price as bought, 3 years later

1991 - VW Golf GTI Mk II Campaign, metallic black - great car, got nicked by some scrotes and hooned all over NE England, sold after recovery

1993 - Audi 80 2.0E, K reg, red - feeling old now, ex hire car, but nice, safe, comfortable, boring ride

1995 - Audi A4, new M reg, metallic black - new, had serious engine/suspension vibration issues (probably dual mass flywheel in hindsight), eventually replaced by Audi under goodwill gesture

1996 - Audi A4 1.8 T Sport, new P reg, metallic silver, quality, classy motor, deceptively fast. Replacement car from Audi at no cost to me, what a result
2000 - Audi TT quattro 180, new W reg, personal import, saved a bundle but lost it at trade-in. Persistent dual mass flywheel problems, crap dealer service, but great design and interior. Uninvolving drive though
2002 - Porsche Boxster 2.7, 2000 W - amazing car. Pleasure to say I owned a Porker for 4 1/2 years

Almost bought a 993

then
2006 - VW Golf GTI Mk V, new 56 reg, Diamond Black metallic - much improved but just like an old friend

My head hurts now.
