howdy all, bought a Mk2 gti 8v last night and thought id pop along here!
she is a 1988 (1990 according to the log book as it came over from ireland!) in red. theres a couple of scabs on it but nothing major (one on the passenger door and the other on passenger inner sill ). interior is very clean as well so that is a bit of a brucie bonus! i've known it for about 2.5 years (mate of my dads owned it before me, and my dad did work on it) but has been stood for about the last 18 months (it was mot'd, for which all it needed was a couple of brake pipes and a bit of welding to the battery tray, parked up in the guys garage and not used!). it also got a new battery put on it to get it out of the garage, just needs mot'ing and taxing at the end of the month
not bad for £450 with another set of wheels (15"s) and a huge wallet of reciepts and even the original bill of sale!
this is my current car, but im unsure what to do with it now!
