Been looking at 16v tuning sites in the states with the dollar price as good as it is.

I found this on my travels and think I might just get one of them to add to my rebuilt engine I'm rebuilding, it should stop it leaning out when the power gets going through the polished and ported inlet and head into a SS exhaust.

Is KEjet the same as our Kjet?

  • Hello, my name is John and I'm a dub addict.
I'm not so sure, the KE-Jet systems are very different to K-Jet, they have a more sophisticated management system which includes a knock sensor and lambda probe.  Can you fix the link? ;)

Hmm, it looks like it plugs into the WUR on the side of the head, if this is true then it should work.  The only thing you'll need to do is add a full throttle switch, as the K-Jet engines don't have one :)

If you can confirm the 'Electro-Hydraulic pressure Actuator, or EHA' is the same thing as the WUR, then you should be in business!

looks totally different!  LKooking at ETKA I've found what looks like the unit on the 9a KE-Jet engine, but no such thing on the KR lump that we have, looks like its no good to us!

Hmm wonder if it could be adapted to fire the cold start injector or WUR  instead that would have the same effect. Might have to look into it. Such a shame it won't just plug and play :( Well spotted that man!

you might have more luck getting one of those units from a KE-Jet motor and fitting it to your metering head...
