mk2 8v 84 2dr, is it possible to change the seat cables (ones that allow access to rear seats)

do I get a prize for being 1000 caller on mk2 forum?

It is possible to change the cable but its  a UNT of a job!! Its easier left and just flicking the catch every time...........

aye its a big time pain in the arse, you need to unclip the back of the seat cover and do it that way
