I dont think its the cd changer as I have an ipod adapter connected and it is in to the block on the bottom right?
I think the worst time to have a heart attack is during a game of charades. Especially if your teammates are bad guessers.

It's not the CD interface (that's bottom right within the bigger connector). I believe it's the multimedia interface (video & aux in).  You can connect a TV tuner, camera etc via this connector (with the appropriate adaptor like http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230095010261).

I'm still confused exactly by the differences between mid and highline. I can change things like footwell lights and the amount of time the headlights stay on but not things like the locks going down when I drive off - any thoughts would be appreciated! Thanks.

the highline swap was just a case of changing the midline clocks to the highline and transferring all the info you had on the midline especially your miles done,you don't have the right convenience module for to change locks and alarm beeps!!!
