Yes if you want to listen to a cd you won't be able to use the sat nav at the same time unless you fit a ipod connection or a cd changer then you can have sat nav at the same time as listening to music,you can still use the radio ovcourse

The sat nav will work just fine without the cluster,you do not lose any function's without the cluster,just make sure you get a gps ariel/code card/origional sat/nav disc and the seller has great feedback,this is the seller i bought mine from very very good service,recieved the player in excellent condition!!
