Hi

Can you tell me if it was reasonably straight forward to swap the sat nav unit in?

Kind regards

Yes if you want to listen to a cd you won't be able to use the sat nav at the same time unless you fit a ipod connection or a cd changer then you can have sat nav at the same time as listening to music, you can still use the radio ovcourse

this is for daveN as i cannot reply to a personel message for some unknown reason
The sat nav will work just fine without the cluster, you do not lose any function's without the cluster, just make sure you get a gps ariel/code card/origional sat/nav disc and the seller has great feedback, this is the seller i bought mine from very very good service, recieved the player in excellent condition!!
do a search on ebay for -    autopark777

Dieselman, thanks for the response, I bought a CD based system from ebay for ~500 euro. The install looks easy enough after doing the ipod adapter a few weeks back.

I have a question do you know what the connector is on the rear in the picture on the left top.
