Just PX'd the Golf! Strong Residuals :0)
« on: 14 February 2007, 17:43 »
Afternoon ladies,

Having found a 3 year old 911 C4S with decent mileage and good spec, i've now got to fund it somehow!!!!

So the Boxster S and Golf need to be shifted!  but i still need two motors (one being a work runner), so have PX'd the Golf for a (don't laugh to much) 1.4 Sporting Grande Punto
20K for the Golf is VERY decent and then discount on the Punto makes for a very decent deal, and who can ignore group 4 insurance and 48mpg   I never expected the Golf to be worth so much, how cool is that

Then the Box is PX'd for the C4S, it's been my dream motor for sometime and i can't wait

So once i get delivery in March then it'll be goodbye from me and goodluck with your chariots

Whilst the Punto might come as a bit of a shock compared to the golf, I bet you wont care one bit when you're in the 911

Very very nice. Still hanker after an older 911 myself but I don't miss the Boxster that much to part with the GTI at the moment.

Enjoy.

I know what you mean Cass.  but i think a 993 would cost to much to run everyday, they just have such good proportions and performance

the C4S 996 looks spanking IMO

I thought so.  A certain other garage who i thought might be interested in purchasing the Golf only offered 17k!!!!  nightmare

The talk of to many around and deals being done on the ed30 etc etc done my head in!

So are you saying their offer went from £20K to £17K?

Nope!  The Fiat garage is providing 20K for a PX, but i went somewhere else where i thought i might get a better offer only to be offered 17k!!!
