seatbelt problem
« on: 14 February 2007, 16:55 »
Removed a seatbelt from my golf to fit in my caddy as i've changed the seats. If the seatbelt retracts so far is it ker-put? Its locked now so i cant pull the belt out the wheel. Is it fixable or should just get another?

Do you mean you've pulled it to the end and now it's locked ? It shouldn't be sh@gged after doing that. Daft question, but is it on a slant as they somehow work on gravity and can lock up that way.
......now officially dubless.

Yeah, found out they work by gravity so should be ok when i fit the belt in its rightful place. I believe they do that incase the vehicle rolls.
