Effects of suspension mods on handling
« on: 12 February 2007, 12:21 »
Most of you will know this already, but here is a handy table of how suspension mods change the balance of a car.

Note 'Sway bar' is an ARB.

... it's turned into a fashion show for poofters.

Yeah Wiki can be dodgy, but the article doesn't seem to have been defaced, and it all makes sense.

Try here too

That's good and all, but I wouldn't make any changes to a car based just on that article - it's accurate to a degree but it doesn't say anything about any of the other effects that you will experience changing those things. If it was that simple there wouldn't have been volumes of books written on the stuff

Yeah, it's a generalisation, every car is different etc.... but it does give people who are just thinking about suspension mods some pointers...
