MK4 Knocking noise

Every so often, eg, when stopping and starting there seems to be a knocking noise coming from under my seat and you can sort of feel a bit of a gentle knock too.  A passenger said they felt it every so often too.  Anybody know what it could be?

i get a sort of knock from under my seat when i turn right as if the seat mounts are a bit lose but there not. :-\
