Last couple of evenings I have finally fitted the tweeters from the Infinity Reference componets in the rear doors! Only taken me about 4 years!
And tonight after sorting the wires without help! I fitted the crossovers!

So they are sorted!

As for the front door speakers after a few helpful and some less helpful suggestions I have decided to go my own way and drill holes in the metal door and frame!
Billy can sort me some grommets and cable protection stuff so hopefully I can drill holes lower down which mean not having to take much of the dash out! With luck if I caqn get them off it will just be the footwell kick/side panels!
We'll see!

Did a bit of investigation today and managed to take off the footwell kick panels and therefore could see behind them!
Can see a good route for the cable holes. Only bad thing is its a double skin area so drilling will be a problem.
Will definitely have to undo the door stay to enable drilling!

So just need to get some stuff off Billy now then can do this!

Ordered some bonnet stays from Volksbits which came today and have fitted them!


Oh and the blue dash lights came as well. So bit of work involved there!

Next is the Alpine HU and 6 disc CD player!

And the new clocks too!

Also doing the BMW rear wiper that Guy has sorted for us!

HU and CD player and also instruments dials all fitted thanks to Billy!

he also found that there was already a fused feed direct from the battery into the car, so that was used to connect up to the amp! Soon blew though as it was only a 7.5 amp!
