Well have finally gotten around to fitting the strut brace!
Very fiddly!
The easy bit was setting it in position and marking the holes to be drilled.
Did that with a punch, well I actually ground an old thin screwdriver to a point and banged it with a hammer!

Started using a small battery drill and when that lost power used my big hammer drill on mains (sans hammer!)
That cut the steel like butter!
Then the hard bit!
Drilled holes with car on ground, so then had to jack up car and take wheels off.
Then the really hard bit of getting the bolts to thread up from under neath the strut housing!
Then just as difficult tightening up the nuts because the bolt head was turning so 2 lots of sockets!
I had drilled the holes the day before and painted the exposed surfaces and left them to dry overnight.
That took about an hour.
Next day took me about 3 hours in total.
