I agree excellent review. I'm not sure about the 18" alloy comments. I have driven two GTI's with 18" alloys around town in Sheffield and had no such worries. Sheffield roads are terribly pock marked and if there's one place to test a GTI on 18" alloys it is definitely Sheffield.

Which side of Sheffield are you on Hurdy? I used to love my drive to Matlock every day in my MK II GTI. Broomhill to Matlock. Great to go against the flow of traffic coming into the city.

Mind you got totally feed up with the traffic in the city in the end and moved out.

I live in Stannington. Just 1 minute and I'm in the countryside around Bradfield and into Derbyshire to enjoy all those lovely country A and B roads :wink: :smiley:
