Hello, and a little advice.
« on: 05 February 2007, 19:01 »
Hi all. Im new to these forums but not to VW's. I have owned in the past a mk2 16v golf as well as a 1967 bug but that was a good few years ago now. I have been house sharing for the last few months with a VW nut who has slowly been converting me back to the ways of VW.

I'm looking to get rid of my Celica for another mk2 GTI (poss mid life crisis I know, but what the heck) and have found these people who are based near me and wondered if any one had any info about them, good or bad. The company is http://www.futureclassiccars.com/ based in Bristol. He has some very nice Golfs with full VW service history for some very nice prices. I have spoken to the owner and he seem very genuin and cluded up but you know how it is when some thing seems to good to be true.

Also if any one can recomend any one else in the Wiltshire area that might be worth me paying a visit to that would be great.

Thanks for you time guys and girls.

Nick.

Never trust any dealers myself! But hey if you can afford to pay their mark up!

Hi all. Thanks for the welcome. Great web site and forum!  Len, i'm from Chippenham but living in Malmesbury at the moment. Not to far from Swindon. I look forward to posting some pics as soon as I can find the right MK2 for me. (mk2 16v with big bumpers if any one knows of a good one for sale  ).

Thanks again guys and girls. Catch you all soon.
Nick.
