hey doc?
« on: 03 February 2007, 19:40 »
Hi,after fire,picked up ed30 on Thursday.
Wondered if u knew how to connect bluetooth phone equipment, as per your posts, via the sat nav/ipod armrest connections combination, can this be done???  if so how, I am worried that if I pull apart the dash board there might only be one aux and thats already being used for the ipod connection and it therefore being a waste of time and effort (never had sat nav before).  If it is possible to do using the sat nav will I be able to use the phone via the multi function steering wheel??  Also since your posts and recommending the nokia cables and interface is there anything that has come up on the market which is now superior that you are aware of??
Cheers and look forward to hearing from you. Jer

Hi m8

YES

if so how, I am worried that if I pull apart the dash board there might only be one aux and thats already being used for the ipod connection and it therefore being a waste of time and effort (never had sat nav before).

The Ipod connection uses the CD changer input so the phone input will be free still. Plus it's mono.

If it is possible to do using the sat nav will I be able to use the phone via the multi function steering wheel??

Only the volume

Also since your posts and recommending the nokia cables and interface is there anything that has come up on the market which is now superior that you are aware of??

No, the only other option is the Parrot really and I think that the call quality is a little rough tbh

Hope this helps!
