Hey guys, i have a Mk1 1.8 8v GTI engine, gearbox, dash looom, etc etc... im fitting it into my caddy very soon once the bodywork is finished.
But... ive had a thought...
I also a 1.6 TD and a 1.9 TD engine sat in my garage from a Passat and Golf GTD.
Would the Turbo and manifold from the TD engine fit straight onto the GTI engine? What else would i need to do to Turbo the GTI?
Obviously i would need more fuel but are the original GTI injectors man enough?
I know a few people on here have Turbo'd Mk2 1.8 8v GTI's so any info would be cool!
