Right, what is the best engine to have in a mk3?? Coversions, standard, anything...

2L 16V ABF is the best mk3 lump. It is tough, easy to mod and loves to be revved!
Dont bother with a nose-heavy VR6 imo.

A r32 lump went on ebay the other day for £2000. How hard would it be to fit?! You need looms and all that but what about a gearbox?

225bhp 1.8T would be best i reckon .
