I think I can tick off all of John's list  thanks to the man himself of course 

Corrado electric window control box is cool though, glad we went to the trouble of sourcing it and getting it in my car. That along with the very simple wiper relay swap are I think the best mods on my car.

Just back from the nearest scrappy - 2 30A relays and a #99 intermittent wiper one for €10! The 1 setting wipers were bugging me a bit, I was even toying with the idea of potentiometers etc but this is a far better solution it even drizzled lightly on the way home so I could use it
