My 1986 8v, bought it in June 08 as a daily driver.  Tidied some bits of paint and lowered it 40mm.  Still has the original dealer plates and stickers and doesn't seem to have been messed with.  Still has the original Blaupunkt cassette player with just a Fast Forward function, ahhh the luxury.

I think this is the best car I have owned. It's quick, when your in the mood and solid when your not.

The exhaust is bit "bad boy" for me like.

1990 MK2 Golf GTi 16v in black blue. Standard engine. Front upper strut brace. TSR Rims (previous owners). Leather Interior. Future work: BBS RS001, Full Body Re-Spray, Crystal Head, Indicator and Fog Lights, Re-Leathered Seats, New Eyebrow, and to sort a couple of rattles and niggles in the cabin.
