« on: 27 January 2007, 16:08 »
Sorry if this has been asked countless times, but im after a fresh look on things!

Wondering what peoples opinions on difrent coilovers are for a 16valver, and what you guys are running? im after quite a large drop, and not to botherd about confort if im honest, just dont want it to be skitish, im tempted for the konigsports, as there relitivley cheap? any body got any thoughts? Also, i have a 20vt in my gargage, and am looking to do a conversion later in the year, and not really wanting to chage coilovers as well :nerd:, so has any body done the covert on here and running coilies?

Cheers, Will

I've got Weitec coilovers on my 16v.

They do fixed/adjustable damping, i went for fixed and i'm very pleased so far.

Good value, very comfortable, as much drop as you're ever going to need, galvanised threads making them easy to adjust after long periods on the car, now owned by KW

Hope that helps

I have weitecs also , firm but comfortable ride. Impressed with the quality. Although i have konigsports on another car. They are good but they have seized on me  and it seems a bit more thought has gone into the weitecs.
