Hi, do all Mk2 GTi have power steering (G reg specifically)

Not all but some i belive , nto sure if it was an option or factory on later models

My old G reg Mk2 16v didn't, but it was small bumper 89 model. I think even on the big bumper models it was still just an option. Not sure though. I think the large majority of later GTIs had power steering though.
If you want PAS, ask the seller, they should be able to tell you.

I'm pretty sure it was an option on the mk2s, but standard on the 90 specs 

Might be incorrect there though.
