Gear lever alignment tools?

As per the other thread, what interest would there be in these if I could supply em at say £6?

tbh i bought on off ebay for around that price and it wasnt much good, i still had to get someone to sit inside the car and hold it in place while i tightened it all up. and once i had finished with it, it was unlikely i would need it agian so i sold it on.

so i doubt you would sell many.

sorry to be a stick in the mud

No problem, that's what I want to hear, it looks like the drawing I have is fairly good (thanks rubjonny), so if there's a problem it won't be because it's a loose fit etc.

Better to have some monkey sit in the car (usually me with my car!) and hold it in place, plus check gears while someone else adjusts...

i bought mine off ebay and it was spot on. i have used mine more than once and for that price why sell it on.

just because you have aligned the gears this once doesn't mean it will be spot on forever!

If i were you mark2mark and i could knock em up for little cost then i would do it.

there will always be someone who wants one of these, if not on here then on ebay.

Go for it!!

i need one for my car, i cant select reverse for more than about 1 second without it popping out. trouble it, those alignment tools rely on the white plastic bit to be in the right place, but mine is bent out of position.

whats the way of doing it without a tool?>
