Hi,

Thought I'd say hello!

I'm thinking about buying a golf or possibly a corrado (is that a good thing to admit here?) and thought I'd come and pick peoples brains about them :)

Just posted a topic about it in the general VW chat section http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=53456.0

Have a good one,

Chris.

Thanks guys.

My current car (non VW...) is my first ever 5 door saloon and I'm finding the experience a bit overated as doors go! Would be aiming for a 3 door I think anyway. Out of interest, what's the objection to the 5 door golfs - are they noticeably less stiff? heavier? both?

Actually, since this morning I've put on my sensible hat and started thinking about finding a well cared for mk3 16v and giving it some decent suspension. Not that I'm fickle or anything... :)
