IT'S DONE! Gti purchased yesterday, give you a quick run down see what u think.

It's a five door 16v i believe it to be a colour concept, not sure it has the 16v badge on the front grill. I bought it from a trader it was a part ex priced to clear at 1800, i give 1500, unfortunately no SH but i'm gonna write to previous owner.

It's a 99% original car from what i could tell it's got 4 new tyres new front discs, dizzie and aux belt, i used the what to look out for string kindly pointed out to me and i couldn't fault the car, It pulls well through all gears, abs spot on hit the brakes at 60 no hands and it stopped in a straight line it's done 89000,

The bad points, cracked screen, theres a gater and plastic cowling missing where the steering coloum goes through bulk head, so you can hear the engine (easy fix) and the front bumper wants respraying due to a scuff on the OS and stone chips also part of the plastic side skirt is missin (wheres best for that sort of thing?)

What you reckon people?

Can any one tell me how to add an image?

Nice one mate, can't wait to see the pics.

They didn't do a 16v colour concept by the way.

I use photobucket for my car photo's, http://photobucket.com/

Basically upload your photo's onto it then copy the full IMG file name into your post and it should pop up.

Hopefully see them soon
