Bit of a bee sting
« on: 24 January 2007, 17:35 »
1997 Mk 3 GTi 8V - I have a bee sting but part of it has broken off! The base bit on the car is okay but the screw-in ariel jobbie is half the size it should be! Any idea what the best place to get one would be and how much I'm likely to get fleeced for it?

If its just the aerial and not the base then you can pick one up on the bay for less than a tenner.....the base is fooked on mine thoughand vw told me it would be £70 for the complete aerial and base with wiring...

Virtually everything I know about the workings of the internal combustion engine can be written on the back of a small stamp with a large marker
