newbie i be

 :grin: hihi dubber ppl im new so be nice lol im 16 but plannin on buyin a project car very soon this is wot i plan to do......
buy mark1 golf 1.1 or 1.3 in half deacent condition
get a respray n get it lookin good
then i plan to get an enine conversion but as i only have very baisic knowledge of cars i would have to get a garage to do it any1 know how much itd cost n wot would be the best kind of engine to drop in ive been told they often need welding will most gfarages do this or will i need somewhere special get bk to me  :smiley:

Ahhhh im very close im near middlesbrough

guy i no does work on my car with engine swaps
and mainly works on old vw's check out good guys section

i posted his details in there of is company discount and stuff

i fancy a mk1 next to do something with :cool:

cool ill have a look mk1s r my faves like but i dunno if i will have the time and money yet so im also considerin a mk2 but im just dreamin atm :rolleyes:

Mk1's look very nice. but you've got to take the bumpers off it, get some fat wheels and drop it. Although they are quite rusty.

it depends on what engine you want putting in really
give him a ring see what he says

would be cheaper if you bought the engine got the car ready for engine to drop in
less labour charges

aye but that wud be daft tho coz then itd need towin there which wud costa fair bit i dunno if im even gonna be able to afford it all i was pricin stuff up  n its like 500 for a deacent mk1 then like 300ish for rims then coilovers then respray then the insurance then the engine wud probably conk every other week im beggining to think my dub project will never be anything more than a dream :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry:
