Heart Broken
« on: 18 January 2007, 18:15 »
Just got in from work to discover my beloved Golf GTI 8v has its front big bumper hanging off!!
I don't know if it's has been hit by another car or somebody has ripped it off!!! But there seems to be no damage to it's exterior.  :undecided:
I have it parked outside my house in the street.

I had just written a reply suggesting someone might have tried to pinch it. Have a good look around, if they were scared off by someone they might have left some tools behind

must be the time of the year. my dog started barking last night, so i went to the front door to find 3 scroats doing something to my peugeot, as soon as i opened the door, they scattered. so i went into the kitchen, got my knife sharpening bar, and just left it by the front door. btw, im the least violent person you'll ever meet, but when it comes to my car, i get a bit crazy.

as i thought, they came back to the car again, this time i had my shoes on, darted out the door, grabbed the bar and chased after them...gave up after about 10m (yes, metres - im not as fit as i thought), then just yelled at them like a proper old man (but actually 20).

i was raging, i got my torch out and inspected the entire car, but couldnt see anything wrong with it at all ???

with something like your bumpers mate, be wary, because if they try once, they'll certainly try again, just be ready!

ive just finished a headgasket on my mums car, maybe i should have left the bonnet open 2 days ago in the hope some scumbags decided to steal the head, then i could catch them halfway through the act, and save myself 2.5hrs :D
