new dizzy cap
« on: 16 January 2007, 19:57 »
fiannly got around to swapping the dizzy cap...
took the old one off had a good look, it looks like it was well over due, the little spring loaded pin that make contact with the rotor arm had all but disappeared - just a black smudge in the middle!!

Out of curiosity how many miles/years should they last?

hopefully it will have a made a difference to the spluttering feeling at light throttle!

i think you should change it every time you do a service.
