watch out for higher wattage bulbs, they can melt the glue holding the glass on the lamps! Uprated loom and std wattage decent quality bulbs should be plenty, Phillips visionplus or osram silver star are good ones 
I'll agree with that. I'm currently running an uprated loom with a 30amp relay, and 130/90w bulbs. It hasn't melted the glue, but it's put a nice big crack (from one side of the lens to the other) in the glass on one side... That said, it's made a hell of a difference and people driving towards me don't seem to mind.
Those I'm following do, however. Hey, that's what dipped rear view mirrors were made for, right?
