I'm considering selling my Jetta for a slightly bigger mark 3 golf - am wondering about pricing her?
She's a Jetta TX 1990 1600 in tornado red [red, not faded pink or otherwise]
118,000 miles with a full VW dealership history and 1 owner - me being the second. The last 2 services have been done by a local VW specialist who we trust with our family cars and is a total enthusiast.
Bodywork
She is in very good condition with no rust at all and solid as a rock underneath. There are several minor dings on some of the panels and on one of the wings near the headlight. As I said, colour is great and treated to Meguiar's and Optimum.
Big-bumper with 90 spec arches and wider door trim.
Running gear
She has had a G-Max suspension kit which is around -60mm I'd say - it was advertised at -40mm but it looks a lot lower! All possible parts replaced where necessary during the change.
Wheel-wise she has gti steels with a gloss black centre and silver rim - which look sweet - recently done and all mint with good tyres.
Standard exhaust, recent back box.
Interior
She has a 90-spec gti interior with the exception of the roof-lining which remains dark grey - this is all in exceptional condition with no wear in the normal places.
Tune-wise she has a Blaupunkt Essen HU, with JBL components to door and dash. There are also a set of 8" Pioneers in the parcel shelf.
Few additions inclusive of smoked indicators side and front, gti steering wheel, custom gear knob and Moon window-stickers!!!
What do you think is a reasonable and realistic price for her?
