Not bad.
« on: 13 January 2007, 12:53 »
Just had a sprint contest with some local mates on a private road and my mk2 golf came second only to a stage1 3 door cosworth (310bhp).

Just beat:-
mk1 fiesta with a stage2 rs turbo transplant.
vauxhall calibra
mk2 escort rs2000 - mods?
G60 golf (chipped & pullied)
corrado g60 (chipped and pullied)
Civic - mods?

No just a well sorted, stripped out 1.9 16v on twin 45 dellortos (power ??? couldn't stop it spinning on there rubbish rollers) based on TSR's bore and build kit.

Just had such a usable broad power band that it just put the power down much better than the rest.

I didn't think it did too bad
