sticking throtle

i put a 2.0 bottom end in my pb gti when i was doing this i changed the throtle body to one which had intact switches the problem i now have is that it sometimes idles at 1500-2000 when driving until the throtle is bliped which then returns it to normal any ideas as to why it does this cheers

check the idle swithc is clicking when the throttle is closed, and make sure the throttle cable isn't too tight, the throttle should hit up against the stop firmly
