Does anyone here use vag-com and if so what version, the 409 version appears to not need activation. With a cable from ebay will this version allow the central locking etc to be modified? Or does this need the software to be activated?
Second to use the 607 version do you need to use ross-tech's cable specifically in order for the sw to work.
Sorry if this topic has been covered, a cable for the 406 might cost 20quid while the 607 is 99.
